Feedback Corner: Receiving & Offering Constructive Feedback (June 4th Session)

$5.00

THIS IS ONLY OPEN TO THE SACRED CIRCLE/STEADY WRITER COMMUNITY.

This week’s session is designed as a focused, supportive space for writers to share work-in-progress and learn how to engage with feedback in a way that strengthens the writing process.

After purchasing, you will receive a preparatory lesson from me on how to both give and receive feedback as developing writers. This includes guidance on how to clearly identify what kind of feedback you’re actually looking for, how to receive critique without spiraling into self-doubt or over-identification with your work, and how to offer thoughtful, constructive responses to other writers in a way that is both honest and supportive.

For the live session on Thursday, June 4th, from 8:00–9:30 PM ET, you will be invited to bring 500–750 words of writing to share with the group. Before sharing, you’ll also be asked to identify 1–3 specific areas where you would like feedback, so that the conversation remains intentional and useful rather than overwhelming or vague.

This is not about perfect work. It is about practicing what it means to let your writing be seen while staying grounded in your creative process. It’s also about learning how to engage with other writers’ work in a way that sharpens your own editorial instincts and deepens your understanding of craft.

Once you register, you will receive the lesson, your Zoom link, and all participation details.

NOTE: If I go into labor during this week, the class will be moved to June 11th, but I’ll keep you all posted.
